Switched from LastPass to Bitwarden after 4 years, here's how it went
I finally gave up on LastPass after their last breach last year. Moved everything over to Bitwarden in about an hour. The import process was smooth and I actually like the interface better. Has anyone else made this switch and noticed any quirks I should watch out for?

about an hour" - that's actually pretty fast, did you have a ton of logins or just a moderate amount? I've been thinking about switching too but I have like 200+ entries and I'm worried something might break during the transfer. Also, did you run into any issues with those auto-fill fields not working right after the switch? I remember hearing some people had to redo their custom fields manually and that sounds like a nightmare lol.

@phoenix_martin40 yeah about an hour for me too, but I only had maybe 50 logins so your 200 might take a bit longer. What worked for me was exporting everything as a CSV first (you know, just in case) and then using the import tool on the new app. It caught like 95% of my entries without any fuss. The only hiccup I had was with a few custom fields for like... weird niche sites that use non-standard forms. But those were easy enough to fix after the fact, maybe 10 minutes of tinkering. Auto-fill worked fine for me right out of the gate, so maybe the horror stories are from older versions or something.

I don't know, 'a nightmare' feels like a stretch for fixing a few custom fields, right?" I mean, it took me maybe 15 minutes tops and I had a headache from the whole thing being overblown.
