My uncle's $40 speaker warning finally made sense last week

He kept saying cheap Bluetooth speakers die right after the return window closes, and sure enough my $35 one from a random website stopped charging at day 34. I pulled it apart and the battery was glued in with what looked like hot glue and hope. Anyone else get burned by those flash sale electronics that vanish off the site a week later?
