Serious question, how long did it take you to figure out a $15 promo code was secretly a subscription?
I spent 2 and a half hours on a Tuesday night reading fine print on a $15 discount code for a meal kit, and it turned out the "free shipping" deal auto renewed me into a $79 monthly box I never wanted. The code page had the terms in gray 8pt text at the bottom, and the cancel button was buried three menus deep on their site.
