I bought a cheap magnetic phone mount off a random pop-up ad last month for my truck. My name brand one from Best Buy kept slipping on hot days, so I figured why not. The cheap one has this extra strong grip that I tested when I hit a pothole on I-35 near Austin. What convinced me was reading the reviews closer, people with the same truck model said it held up for 14 months of daily use. I checked the return policy before buying, which made me feel safer about the gamble. Has anyone else had luck with those random ad products that seem too cheap to work?
