A seller on FB Marketplace in Tampa tried to charge me $15 to "cover PayPal fees" on a $60 item, so now I screenshot every listing before I message anyone

Ah yes, the good old PayPal fee surcharge, because nothing says trustworthy like nickel and diming someone on a sixty dollar item. Next thing you know they'll want gas money for meeting you at the Starbucks parking lot. Screenshotting everything is smart, though I'd wager a good chunk of these sellers don't even realize how much they're telling on themselves. Between the fee hustlers and the no-show flakers, buying used stuff online has basically turned into a part time job. At least you're building a nice little case file for when the deal goes sideways.
