That $8 blender deal on flash sale cost me 3 hours on the phone with support
Saw a $140 blender listed for $8 on a random flash sale site last Tuesday, so I ordered two before they "sold out" in 4 minutes. Turned out to be a pricing glitch, and it took 3 hours of calls plus a screenshot of my order to get my $16 back after they tried to just ship me a plastic cup instead. Has anyone actually gotten a store to honor a glitch price, or is a refund the best you can hope for?

Man, I remember reading a thing a while back about some lady who got a $3000 TV for like 50 bucks because of a fat finger price and the store actually shipped it to avoid the bad press, but I'm pretty sure that's super rare. Most places have a clause in their terms that says they can cancel any order with a pricing error, so legally they're mostly covered. Your move of screenshotting everything was smart though, that's the only reason you probably got anything back at all. Three hours for 16 bucks hurts my soul, but sometimes it's less about the money and more about not letting them pull one over on you.
