Tried to grab a $29 'glitch price' 4K monitor on a random Wednesday night, order got canceled 11 hours later
Last Wednesday around 11pm I was scrolling a deal forum and saw a 27 inch 4K monitor listed for $29 on a big box store site, when it usually runs about $280. I ordered two right away, got a confirmation email, and felt like I'd finally hit one of those price glitches people always talk about. For about 11 hours I was checking my email every 20 minutes, and the order status sat at 'processing' the entire time. Then at 10am sharp I got the classic canned message saying the price was a mistake and my order was canceled with a full refund. Here's the part that bugs me: the listing stayed up for almost 40 minutes before it got pulled, which means a bunch of people got in. I checked a few forums after and some folks are saying their orders shipped, but the store charged them the full $280 instead of $29. That seems way worse than just canceling, like a bait and switch. Did anyone else here get one of these through, or did you all get the same cancellation email I did?
