Why does nobody mention that the "90% off" Black Friday sites are just dropshippers with a countdown timer
I spent 20 minutes on one of those flash sale sites last Tuesday and noticed the "sale ends in 4:59" timer reset every time I refreshed the page. The jacket I was watching sat at "only 3 left" for two days straight, then went back to full price with the same 3 left tag. I ran the product photo through a reverse image search and it popped up on a Chinese wholesale site for $6 with free shipping. Turns out the whole "limited stock" thing is fake scarcity to rush you into buying. Has anyone else caught a site doing the resetting countdown trick, or is it just the ones I keep landing on?
