Hit a deer on the way to work last Tuesday in Ohio and the next day found out my cousin won $500 on a scratch-off
Wildest 48 hours I've had in years. The deer totaled my 2004 Civic but the insurance payout was fair, then my cousin calls me about the scratch-off he bought at the same gas station. Has anyone else had a streak of bad luck flip into something good that fast?

idk my cousin just flipped a salvaged jeep and it worked out fine.

Right? Like I literally bought a salvaged Honda Civic that had been in a flood for $800 back in 2018. The thing had mud caked in places I didn't even know existed, smelled like a swamp for two months. Dried it out, replaced the starter and some fuses, and honestly that car ran like a champ for three more years until I finally sold it for $1500. Not everything salvaged is a death trap, sometimes you just get lucky with a decent repair job.
