Wrote off that 5G tower radiation chart as fake, then I checked the FCC database myself
Kept seeing this chart claiming towers in my zip code put out 10x the limit, so I pulled the actual filings for 3 towers near me in Columbus and the numbers matched almost exactly. Now I'm wondering what else I've been scrolling past that would take 20 minutes to check, what's a claim you actually looked up and got surprised by?
Looked into those "study says chocolate helps your heart" headlines once and found the study was paid for by a candy company. Took me maybe 15 minutes to find the funding source right there in the fine print. Not saying the science is always bunk, but knowing who paid for it changes how you read the whole thing.
