That 'scientific study' about left-handed toast was 15 years old
Last week a news site pushed a study claiming left-handed people burn toast more often, citing a 2009 UK survey. I dug into it and the sample was 32 people from one university dorm. Has anyone else noticed old studies resurfacing as fresh content with zero date checks?

Did you know this kind of thing happens all the time with old studies getting recycled? My buddy runs a small news blog and last year he almost reposted a 2011 coffee study as new until a reader called him out on it. The dates get stripped somewhere in the mix and nobody double checks before it goes live.
