Just found out that only 0.1% of people can spot a deepfake face, and I failed the same test twice
I took the Deepfake Detection Challenge quiz on a BBC page last Tuesday and got 4 out of 10 right, which is barely better than guessing. The part that got me was how the fake eyes blinked too little in one clip, and I still picked it as real. Has anyone here actually trained their eye to catch that stuff, or is it just luck with the lighting?

Try watching the same clip twice in a row without pausing and see if the mouth movements line up with the words. That timing gap is usually easier to catch than blinking, since most of us notice off lip sync even when we miss the eye stuff. Did the BBC quiz put the clips in a row like that, or did you only get one look at each?
