Tried to spot a fake by counting blinks, and my own webcam fooled me first
Last Tuesday I spent almost an hour freezing frames of a clip my cousin sent me from a job fair in Dallas, counting how many times the speaker blinked per minute to see if it matched real human rates. I was so sure I had it figured out until I turned my own webcam on and watched myself, and my blinking was all over the place depending on the light in the room. So is blink counting even a real trick, or are we all just guessing at this point?
