My neighbor in Scottsdale convinced me to test paint colors on cardboard first

She said the desert sun shifts every shade about two tones lighter by noon, so I did a 3 day test with 5 samples on old moving boxes propped against my stucco wall, and now I'm rethinking the whole exterior palette, has anyone else dealt with this weird glare factor?
