Can we talk about blending green messages into our digital art?

I've been thinking a LOT about how my digital art can push for a healthier planet. My recent showcase featured animated forests dying from pollution, and folks said it hit HARD. But I wonder if just showing the problem is enough to spark real change. Maybe I should also highlight how I create the art, like picking software that runs on solar power or something. I saw another artist use old computer parts in their display, which was PRETTY smart. What's your take on making the sustainability angle clear without losing the art's punch? Got any ideas for themes or methods that really connect with people?

Yeah, talking about the process like anna872 said really clicked for me. I did an ocean animation and just put "rendered on green energy" in the description - people loved knowing how it was made. It didn't distract from the art at all.

Talking too much about your green tools could take focus away from the art's actual message.

But doesn't the process matter too? If an artist uses sustainable paints or recycled materials, that choice is part of the work's story. Talking about those green tools, @willowr96, can actually add a whole other layer to the art's message about care for the planet. The method can be a big part of the meaning itself.
