Talking to my niece about her art class made me miss my first Wacom tablet

She said they just use school iPads now and called my old Intuos a 'dinosaur'. It hit different because I saved up for months to buy that thing back in 2012. Anyone else feel a little old seeing how fast the tools change?

Plug that Intuos in and keep using it. I still run a 2013 model for client work because the build quality beats most new budget tablets. The tech might be old, but if it gets the job done, who cares what a kid thinks.

Man, I gotta disagree. That 2012 tech is a dinosaur for a reason. The lag and low pressure levels would drive me nuts now. Morgan326 has a point about it still working, but working well is a different story. Why fight an old tablet when a basic modern one feels so much better?

Define "feels better" for you.

Honestly, that Wacom probably still works fine. Tech moves on, but calling a tool from 2012 a dinosaur is a bit much. It's not like you were using a literal stone tablet.
