The $45 vintage tablet I rescued from a flea market is my favorite display piece now

Found a busted 2004 Wacom at a booth in Portland last month, paid $45 expecting just a cool prop, but after a cheap cable swap it actually works with my laptop. Art programs treat it like a stranger, but Corel Painter picked it up instantly, so has anyone else kept an old device running just for the retro sketching feel?
