Watermarked previews came back to bite me at a client meeting last Friday
I sent a gallery with 30 small watermarked images to a potential buyer, they showed it to their boss, and the boss thought the watermarks were actual art flaws, so we lost the deal and I spent $140 on a rush reshoot, so has anyone else had clients misread preview marks as defects?
Who looks at watermarks and thinks those are flaws? Sounds like the boss never worked with previews before. Skip the marks next time and just send low res files instead.
