That coworking space membership in Bali was a total money pit

I signed up for a fancy coworking space in Ubud for 3 months, paid $600 upfront, and the internet was slower than my home connection. Half the time I couldn't even load basic work files because everyone was streaming video at once. Has anyone else gotten burned by those 'digital nomad friendly' spaces that just look good in photos?

Those "fast lane" options are such a scam, it's basically paying extra for the same broken pipe everyone's sharing. Had a similar thing in Chiang Mai where the "business center" was just three guys on Discord screaming at each other while someone tried to host a Zoom call. Turns out a local coffee shop with a dongle had better speeds than that whole "professional" setup.

Dude, saw a guy pay extra for their "fast lane" wifi and still couldn't load a PDF.

Nah, coffee shop dongle beats "fast lane" every time, happens here too.
