Power of attorney took 6 months longer than my lawyer guessed

I figured signing a few papers would be done in a week, but getting my ex to actually notarize and return everything dragged on from March to September. The court clerk in Harrisburg kept saying one document was missing, and we had to redo the whole financial disclosure twice. Has anyone else had the custody paperwork stall out on something dumb like a typo on a middle name?
