My drywall lift gave out mid-ceiling in Austin last Tuesday
I was wrestling a 12 foot sheet up to the ceiling in a new build and the lift just buckled and dropped it right on the floor. The whole sheet cracked in half and cost me an extra $45 to replace. Has anyone here had a lift fail on them like this and found a good fix?

Save your $45, that lift probably saved you way more money before it went.

That old lift likely paid for itself ten times over before giving up the ghost.

Why are you so sure it "saved" money instead of just delaying a bigger bill? That thing could have been guzzling electricity and causing other issues for years.
