Shoutout to the local news for their 'controversial' new park bench design

Our town paper ran a front page story yesterday about 'public fury' over some modern art benches installed in the square, but when I went down there, people were just sitting on them eating lunch. The whole thing was based on three angry comments from a Facebook post. How do these stories even get written?

Yeah, the "public outcry" thing is so overblown. I mean, @sean_thompson, maybe just stop reading those headlines for a week and see if you even miss them.

Ugh, it's all just engagement bait now. They need a shocking headline to get clicks, so they turn a few online grumbles into a 'public outcry'. Makes you wonder what else they're blowing out of proportion...
