PSA: I saw a 'haul' video where someone bought 22 items for under $100
It was from one of those ultra-cheap sites, and the comments were full of people asking for the link. Made me think about how they can even make clothes that cheap, and what the real cost is. Has anyone looked into the actual breakdown for a shirt that sells for $4?

The actual cost breakdown is pretty simple. A basic cotton tee made in a high volume factory in Bangladesh might cost $1.50 to produce. The $4 price covers that, shipping, and a tiny profit. People on tight budgets need these options.

People on tight budgets need these options." Yeah, and my budget's tight because I keep buying shirts that fall apart after two washes. That tiny profit must be from not using any thread.

I used to only buy the cheap shirts too. Then I saw a video showing how they cut corners, like using way less thread on the seams. It's not just about the price tag.

My brother got a pack of those once and the collar was all twisted after the dryer. I mean idk maybe it's just me but I'd rather buy one $20 shirt that lasts.
