Hit 50 drive-thru orders in a row without a single mistake at my local Burger Barn

I know everyone complains about messed up orders, but I've been tracking mine for six months and just hit 50 perfect pickups. I think it's because I go at 2pm on weekdays when it's slow, and I always check the bag before I pull away. Has anyone else found a specific time that seems to get things right more often?

Checking the bag is key, but pulling away from the window is the risky part. If you find a mistake then, you have to park and go inside, which defeats the whole drive-thru point. I open mine right at the window under the camera. They fix it on the spot.

But what if the line behind you is super long? I always feel rushed and guilty holding everyone up while I dig through the bag. The workers are watching and the pressure is real. Maybe the real move is to just accept some mistakes as part of the drive-thru tax.
