After missing some client deadlines, I put a whiteboard on my wall.
Now I see all my tasks at once. It keeps me honest and on track as a freelancer.

My handwriting's so bad it would just become abstract art, not a productivity tool.

Remember in high school when my history teacher held up my essay and asked if it was a new form of calligraphy. I had to admit it was just my terrible handwriting during a timed test. He laughed and said it looked more like abstract drawings than words. That got me thinking how messy writing can accidentally become art. A few friends even tried to mimic it for fun, making their notes look all wavy and wild. Now I can't look at modern art without wondering if it started as someone's rushed notes.

Wait, your teacher actually held up your essay in front of the whole class? That's brutal. I'd be mortified if someone did that with my messy writing. Turning it into an art lesson is a pretty wild way to handle it, though.
