TIL that trying to bake cookies during a deadline call is a bad idea

My smoke alarm went off right as the client asked for changes. Now my office smells like burnt sugar and panic.

My cousin's cafe had this EXACT issue last summer. Hey @olivia_knight, you gotta blast fans NONSTOP. That burnt sugar smell LINGERS like crazy in drywall. Run air purifiers if you have them, and open every window for a full week. Seriously, short cuts just don't cut it with this kind of stain. You need constant fresh air moving or it comes back, I've seen it happen.

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare. I'd just run fans 24/7 for a solid week, no joke. Anything less and you'll keep smelling it.
