My $80 'smart' water bottle just told me to drink more... by email
I bought it thinking the hydration reminders would help, but the app barely works and it's just a heavy bottle with a dead battery now. Has anyone found a simple tracker that actually works without all the tech junk?

Been there. My expensive bottle is a paperweight too. The apps are always clunky and the batteries die. I just use a big Nalgene now and fill it twice a day. It’s a simple rule that works better than any gadget. All that tech just adds more problems to solve.

My smart mug lasted a month before it became a fancy coaster.

My $120 smart scale convinced me that simple habits beat expensive gadgets every time.
