Remembering that one crazy week in 2018 when the salon's water heater broke for 3 days straight.
We had to wash every single client's hair with water heated in kettles and coffee urns, and honestly, the teamwork and laughs we got through it made me miss the old-school, problem-solving side of the job that you don't see as much now.

Nah, I gotta disagree. That sounds like a total nightmare. Clients pay good money and they shouldn't have to put up with weird smelling hair or guessing games with water temp. Pro tip: label the pots with tape next time, lol. We used a sharpie on the cord for "hot" and "lukewarm". Still smelled like old coffee but at least we knew what we were getting into.
