The topographic map line is spot on. My old apartment carpet had more dips than a roller coaster. You really do pay for cheap pads one way or another.

My cousin tried to film her kid's first step last year. The camera work is a disaster. You just see the carpet, then the ceiling, then a blurry wall because she was full on sobbing. The audio is just her going "oh my god" over a bunch of sniffling.

It's the same with cooking for me. A simple pasta with good olive oil beats most fancy recipes. Or just focusing on one real task at work instead of trying to do ten things at once. The less time and stuff I have to work with, the less I can mess it up. Short workouts fit right into that.
