inPSA: Torn on whether to advise a neighbor doing his own horse shoeing
Exactly, that rotor falling off proves the point. It's not just about money, it's about not seeing where the small mistakes add up. Your uncle might have gotten 90% of the brake job right, but that last 10% is what causes the total failure. A lot of jobs are like that, where one wrong bolt or missed step ruins all the work you put in. People forget that pros have learned from years of making and fixing those exact errors. Doing it yourself skips all that hard earned knowledge, and you end up paying for the lesson anyway.

inMy back would have hurt if I believed that deep fake yoga video
That breathing rhythm mismatch is a huge clue. I've fallen for a few videos where the movements seemed out of sync. It really makes you question what's real online.

inUpdate: My tool wall organization cut service time on residential jobs
Magnetic strips might seem handy, but they often grab every tiny metal scrap around. Then you're just digging through a messy pile instead of finding what you need.

inMy apprentice caught a layout error before we made the first cut.
Totally agree with @sean_barnes24 on this. From my time training folks, letting them spot their own errors before anything gets ruined is key. It turns a close call into a lesson they won't forget, lol. They start to double-check their work without being told, which builds real skill. That moment when they catch it themselves? Priceless for their confidence. Saves materials too, but the trust you mention is what sticks with them.

inTIL how fast mold can take over a ferment
Wow, temperature really can make or break a ferment. Tbh, I had a batch of kraut turn mushy last summer when my kitchen got too warm. Now I'm paranoid and check the spot with a thermometer before I even start.
