Rant: That influencer who promised her 'career coaching' was the real deal

Paid $300 for a 3 week crash course last summer and all she did was read from a script and tell me to 'manifest' a sale, then ghosted me when I asked for a refund, so what happened to these get rich quick gurus after the hype fades?

Did you ever notice how these same influencers turn into "mindset coaches" the second their original hype dies down? I knew a girl who dropped $400 on a "copywriting course" from a guy who was just a failed life insurance salesman. He spent the whole first session bragging about his leased BMW and told us to "trust the universe" instead of actually teaching us how to write a sales page. Then a year later I saw him selling detox teas on Facebook under a different name. Makes you wonder how many of them just keep rebranding themselves like old tires, right?

Oh man, $300 for someone to read a script and tell you to 'manifest' a sale - I paid a 'sales guru' $500 a few years back and he literally printed out a Wikipedia article on cold calling and handed it to me with his logo stapled on top. Waste of money but at least I got a nice paperweight out of it? These gurus usually just fade back into being regular people selling leggings on Instagram once the hype train derails.

Bet they reuse the same script for every client too.
