A gallery owner in Savannah told me my art was "promptable" and I haven't picked up a brush since
I was at a small group show downtown 3 weeks ago when this guy walked up to my oil painting of a marsh at dusk and said a model could crank out the same thing in 20 seconds with the right words. He wasn't being mean, he honestly thought he was complimenting how clean my style was. How do you even respond to that without sounding like you're scared of a machine?
