My portfolio got scraped and I found out through a weird reverse image search
Last month I was checking if anyone stole my paintings and found 40 of them on a site selling AI prompt packs. The seller didn't even bother cropping out my signature on three of them, that's how lazy it was. I sent a takedown notice and got a reply saying my work was 'transformative material' which felt like a slap in the face. Has anyone else had luck with copyright claims against these prompt sellers, or do I just accept it as collateral damage?

Damn, that "transformative material" line is such a cop-out. I've been through this same mess and what actually worked was filing a DMCA directly with the hosting provider, not just the site itself. The prompt sellers usually don't own the servers so they fold fast once the host gets involved. Also screenshot everything including the listing and their reply, because if you need to escalate to small claims it helps to have the paper trail. The signature thing is actually your best card here, that's pretty damning evidence they just ripped your files.
