That AI art generator I tried last weekend turned my pet portrait into a three-eyed monstrosity

I spent 45 minutes tweaking the prompt for my cat and it gave me something that looked like a Picasso reject, so now I'm wondering if these tools are even worth the hype for actual commission work-has anyone else had a generator just completely fail at something simple like a face?

ngl the three eyed cat thing made me laugh way too hard, i got something similar when i tried to generate a picture of my dog and it came out looking like a radioactive potato with legs. honestly feels like these things have a hidden setting where they just mess with you for fun, like they're sitting there watching us get confused and cracking up. my friend tried to make a logo for his band and it gave him something that looked like a melted ice cream cone with eyeballs, couldn't stop laughing about it for days. maybe they're just bored and trolling us to pass the time between all the serious stuff they have to do lol
