Threw $45 down the drain on an AI art subscription last month

I signed up for this AI art generator that promised 'unlimited commercial use' and it turned out the terms of service actually gave them rights to my prompts and outputs. Lost $45 on a monthly plan I canceled after 3 days when I read the fine print. Has anyone else gotten burned by misleading subscription terms for these tools?

and then they probably sold your prompts to train their next model too, classic bait and switch.

Ha, right? Like we're all just unpaid interns for their next big algorithm. What's next, they start charging us to access our own login history? "Sorry, that memory of you arguing with a stranger about pineapple on pizza is now premium content.

The "memory" bit is actually scary because they COULD charge to retrieve things you already posted for free.
