Saw an AI art display at the Denver airport last month. It was weird.
They had these big screens showing landscapes that changed with the weather outside. The sign said it was a 'generative adversarial network.' Some people loved it, said it was the future. Others said it was just fancy wallpaper and not real art. Where do you stand on AI making stuff for public spaces?

Was it in that weird tunnel between terminals? I saw the same thing and it felt like a tech demo that overstayed its welcome. It's cool for a minute, but calling it art feels like a stretch, you know? It just made me miss the old weird sculptures they used to have there.

Our local mall replaced its fountain with a screen showing fish, and it just feels empty now.

Actually liked the Denver one (it was in that tunnel). Felt peaceful watching it change, like a living painting. Maybe it's not "art" in the old way, but it can still make a space feel nice.
