Bleed air valve day ruined by a borrowed multimeter
Turns out my old Fluke was reading 30% low on resistance, so I'd been setting bleed air valves wrong for months, only caught it when the lead plane kept throwing stall warnings. Anyone else ever trust a test tool until something bizarre tipped them off?

...30% low? Tbh that's wild. I've had meters drift before but that's a huge swing, not some tiny off by a hair thing. You'd think you'd notice the readings felt off, but honestly when you trust the tool you just blame the hardware or the wiring instead. And the stall warnings, man, that's the kind of thing that makes you want to throw the whole plane at the ground. Glad you caught it before it became a real problem, but I bet you're double checking every single reading now. I would be, that's the kind of thing that sticks with you.
