The Snap-On 3/8 drive ratchet vs. the Matco one is a no-brainer

I used both on a gearbox change for a Cessna 172 last month, and the Snap-On just feels better in your hand after a 10 hour day. The Matco's head was a bit too big and kept getting stuck in tight spots around the firewall. Honestly, the extra $50 for the Snap-On is worth it just for the lower back pain you avoid. Which ratchet do you guys reach for first when you're in a tight spot?

Derek's right about the fine tooth count, but the real win is how the head fits in tight spots.

My old shop teacher swore by Snap-On for the fine tooth count alone.

Gotta wonder if that fine tooth count is a real game changer for most jobs. I've broken loose plenty of rusty bolts with a basic 72-tooth ratchet from a parts store. Unless you're working in super tight spaces all day, the extra cost feels like paying for a name. My old Craftsman did the same work for a fraction of the price.
