Spent 4 hours debugging a TikTok caption that wouldn't post

Was trying to test a theory about hashtag placement for viral reach. Caption kept getting cut off at 150 characters. Finally realized my phone autocorrected “vs” to a special character. Cost me a whole afternoon for something stupid. Has anyone else hit weird character limits that mess with your post?

Oh man, does your phone always do that thing where it hides the autocorrect until it's too late? I feel your pain on this one, that ellipsis thing gets me so often I swear it's a conspiracy. You'd think by now these devices would just let us type what we actually need without messing with special characters. I really hate how you can spend hours on something simple only to find out it was some tiny stupid setting or keyboard quirk the whole time.

My phone keeps changing "..." to one of those three-dot characters too. That thing breaks my Twitter threads every single time. Stupidest part is you don't notice until after you post and your big reveal line is just blank space. Lost a whole evening once trying to figure out why my hobby blog captions kept getting mangled.

Yeah that thing about autocorrect messing with special characters... I had a similar issue where my phone kept changing "..." to the actual ellipsis character and it would break my caption formatting. Drives me nuts how you can't just trust what you type is what posts.
