Dub vs sub debate got my laundry sorted, somehow

I spent three hours last night arguing with my cousin about whether the One Piece dub captures the jokes better. Thing is, we were both folding clothes the whole time, and neither of us realized we'd finished everything until the credits rolled. I've never gotten through a full basket that fast, usually takes me a week to even start. Now I'm wondering if I should pair other chores with anime arguments, like dishes with a Vinland Saga rewatch. Has anyone else found a weird side effect from these heated fan debates?

Realized I only fold laundry when I'm rage-typing about anime takes, so now I just start fake arguments with myself about Frieren while doing chores, works surprisingly well. My neighbor thinks I'm losing it though, but my closet's never been cleaner lol.

That's kind of genius honestly, but does it actually work for you or are you just getting distracted and then folding out of pure muscle memory? Like do you remember what you even folded by the end, or does it all blur together? I tried the fake argument thing except about which JoJo part has the best fights and I ended up just talking to the wall for twenty minutes and forgot the laundry existed. So either I'm doing it wrong or you've got some next level focus going on lol. Maybe the secret is picking takes that actually get you heated instead of ones you already agree with, cause my fake arguments are always way too one sided to be convincing.
