He argued in line for coffee that the weekly format kills the pacing, but I've loved the slow build for over 800 episodes. Do you think some shows are actually worse when you can watch them all at once?

Totally get where you're coming from. The weekly wait is part of the fun for me, it builds real anticipation. Binging something like One Piece would make the slower parts feel way more obvious and frustrating. That shared weekly experience with the whole fanbase is special, you lose that when everyone watches at their own speed. Some stories just need room to breathe between chapters.
