That $90 drain auger attachment paid for itself in one job

I picked up a motorized drum auger attachment for my drill last month after fighting a clogged dishwasher line by hand for an hour. It ran me about $90 and I figured it was a gamble, but the very next call in Dayton it cleared a grease block in 10 minutes that would've taken me a full afternoon with the manual cable. The homeowner had already called two other guys who said they'd need to pull the unit, so I looked like a hero. Has anyone else tried these drill powered augers on washing machine drains, or is that asking for trouble?

Three dishwasher jobs last month is what it took to kill mine, the motor burned out before the cable even snapped. The torque on those things is fine for straight runs, but the moment you hit a T-fitting it grabs and twists the drill out of your hands. It paid for itself by saving your back once, but I would not trust it on a washer drain with that 90 degree bend right at the wall.
