inCame back to a plane I worked on 3 years ago
Man, seeing that kind of turnaround is honestly satisfying in a weird way. It's like someone actually cared enough to take your messy groundwork and turn it into something clean and proper. Makes you wonder if that plane's next owner will even know how much worse it looked before.

inThat week last July when the dredge pump just kept clearing
Stop RIGHT there. FIVE days with no clogs on a Mississippi dredge? That's like seeing a unicorn doing the backstroke, I don't trust it at all. I'd be watching the pressure gauges like a hawk waiting for the universe to balance the scales.

inSpent a month in Chiang Mai and the sheer number of co-working spaces felt like a bubble about to pop.
...is it really that big of a deal? I remember when people would just rent a cheap room and work from their laptop at a coffee shop. Calling 17 co-working spaces a "bubble" just seems like we're all a little too obsessed with labeling normal ups and downs as some big economic event. The craft beer and food truck comparison is fair, but most of those places are still open and doing fine, just not as many as the peak.

inHit 47 campsites in 12 months and my tent finally gave up
Used to think budget gear died after a couple trips honestly, but 47 nights from a Coleman is pretty impressive. That changes my mind about how long cheap tents can hold up if you treat them decently. Might have to give my own gear a second chance before upgrading next time.

inThe hammer I dropped at a forge-in in Ohio 7 years ago
Seven years chasing one perfect swing sounds like a lot of mystique for a hammer hit. Pretty sure half the magic is just not having your dad's old rusty claw hammer that weighs too much. People act like one tool from some guy at a demo unlocks the secrets of the universe when really you just hadn't tried a properly weighted hammer before. Did Jerry also tell you it cures arthritis and lowers your car insurance?
