That August freezer coil job in El Paso almost ended me
I was on a roof access walk-in freezer unit during that 108 degree heatwave and the compressor kept short cycling. Turned out the condenser coil was caked with sand from a nearby construction site, so I spent 45 minutes blasting it out with CO2, but my pressure gauge was reading off by 15 psi. Turns out the factory dial was bent from a prior fall, so I swapped in my cheap digital one and the system finally pulled down right. Has anyone else had a factory gauge lie to them like that, or am I just lucky? lol
