Three hours for a damn freezer drain, then it was just a zip tie
Last Tuesday I got a call about a Frigidaire freezer pooling water, figured it was a clogged drain line like always. Took the back panel off, cleared the line, tested it, still pooling. I pulled the compressor cover, checked the defrost heater, the thermostat, even swapped the drain pan, three hours gone and I'm honestly ready to toss the thing out the window. Then I noticed the drain hose was pinched behind a zip tie the previous owner had used to bundle wires, one snip and it ran perfect. Anyone else ever chase a simple fix for way too long because of something dumb like a cable tie or a misplaced bracket?
