Warning: talked a customer into a $14 part instead of a $210 board and now the shop is split
Had a Whirlpool duet washer in Fort Myers throwing an F21 code. I pulled the pump and found a sock jammed in the impeller, so I cleared it and charged the guy $14 for a new drain hose clamp. My lead wanted to swap the control board anyway since it pays 1.5 hours flat rate. Half the guys say I left money on the table, half say I bought a customer for life. Which one is it?
