My old school meal planning vs. the app I switched to in March
I used to plan dinners on a notepad every Sunday, just writing down stuff like tacos and spaghetti based on what was on sale. Then in March I tried a meal planning app on my phone and it changed how I shop, I mean I still cook the same recipes but now I just pick meals from a list and it builds the grocery list for me. The app costs $4 a month and honestly it saves me about 30 minutes of standing in the aisle trying to remember if I have cumin. Has anyone else switched from paper to an app and then felt weirdly guilty about it, like you're cheating on your old system?

$4 a month for 30 minutes back is honestly a steal, but is that guilt more about losing the ritual of writing it all out? I used to feel the same way when I swapped my paper budget for a spreadsheet, like I wasn't really "doing" anything anymore. Does the app feel less like you're actually cooking, or is it just the habit that's throwing you off?
