Question about switching from paper notes to digital notes

I used to keep a physical notebook for everything like meeting notes and random ideas. But about 3 months ago I switched to a free app called Notion and it changed how I organize stuff. Now I can search for something from 6 weeks ago in 2 seconds instead of flipping through pages. Has anyone else made the switch and found a specific tool that works better for them?

I finally called my ISP after 2 years of slow internet and they fixed it in 5 minutes

Last Tuesday I spent 45 minutes on hold and the guy just replaced my modem from 2019 and now my download speed went from 12 Mbps to 120, has anyone else been too lazy to make that call for way too long?

Just changed my mind about using AI for writing cover letters

I always thought AI written cover letters were garbage. Then my friend showed me one she got a call back for at a marketing firm in Austin. She spent 20 minutes editing the AI draft to add specific numbers from her own job history. I tried it last week for a project manager role and got 2 interview requests out of 5 applications. The trick is you have to treat the AI output as a rough draft, not the final version. Anyone else have luck with this approach or is it still cheating in your book?

Spent 4 hours trying to cancel a subscription I signed up for in 10 seconds

I signed up for a meal kit service on a whim last Tuesday. Took me maybe 10 seconds to enter my email and hit subscribe. Then I tried to cancel it. Four hours. I had to call three different numbers, sit on hold for 45 minutes each time, and finally talk to a supervisor who asked me why I wanted to leave. All that just to stop getting boxes of overpriced pasta I never ordered. Has anyone else spent way too long just trying to get out of something you got into in seconds?
