inQuestion about buying the full box set of an older anime
Got the whole series of The Office on DVD a while back. I make a point to watch a few episodes every month, usually when I'm doing chores or just want something on in the background. It feels good knowing I can pop it in anytime without worrying about it leaving a streaming service.

inI used to think paying for a tax pro was a waste of cash for freelancers
My old accountant missed that I could write off a chunk of my car payment for client meetings. I switched to a guy named Mark who works with a lot of artists and freelancers. He asked about my driving habits in our first meeting and found over two grand in mileage deductions I had no clue about. It completely changed my view on doing it myself. The right pro doesn't just file, they know the questions to ask. That specific knowledge is worth every penny.

inHeard a trainer at the local show tell a rider 'your horse is walking on eggshells'
My neighbor's dog started walking funny last year because his nails got too long. The vet said it was like wearing shoes that were curled up at the toes, forcing him to walk on the front of his paw pads. It's the same idea, right? We see this in so many places where one part gets ignored and the whole system has to compensate. Fix that one spot and the whole movement just flows naturally again.

inOur street finally hit 50% electric car adoption this month
Man, I saw something about a town banning certain lawn gnomes because they were "too aggressive looking." Where do they even come up with this stuff? It's like there's a contest for the most random local law. Portland's just the tip of the iceberg, honestly. Makes you wonder if they have meetings just to brainstorm weird rules.
