Showerthought: it took me 3 weeks to add a second phone line to my office, and the fix was one checkbox
I tried to add a second phone line at my office in Boise back in June, and what I figured would be a 20 minute job stretched into 3 weeks of calls and two truck rolls. It turned out the whole mess was one checkbox on the provider's site that someone had left unchecked on my account, and a tech spotted it in about 90 seconds. How do you all keep your cool when the fix ends up being that small after all that runaround?
